Jacompact process control valve for high precision control of liquids, gases, steam etc., for heavy duty, chemical environments with high temperatures.

Jacompact™, a new single-acting pneumatic actuator developed for heavy duty environments, compact fitting, long life times, high resolution of controls and for versatile applications.

For many standard control valves available on the market today, the heavy duty conditions of their application will not allow reliable operation over a long life time, this due to their designs not being rated accordingly.
The design of this new control valve is ideal for chemical environments and high temperatures where space is limited.

The actuator is sealed with a heavy duty gasket material and is fitted with an electrical position feed-back sensor (LVDT) resistant to high temperatures.

Jacompact actuator was originally designed for a steam application in the paper industry, however it is applicable to all industries who are looking for an actuator and valve for special or very harsh applications.

Position feedback signal
External to the actuator, the voltage feed-back signals are converted into an industry standard PLC input signal (4-20 mA), for process display - or host computer trend functions.

For optimum control of the pneumatic actuator, a high precision set-point controller (I/P converter) has been chosen.
This digitalised instrument gives a very linear output pressure signal.
By using a simple menu system, it can be configured for any range between zero and 5 Bar for zero to 100% valve movement.
It also has a digital display function, showing the current output pressure.
