Speed Draw Analyser
Independent of the paper machine or winder drive system, this system measures the surface speed of any roll. By comparing to other speed measurements, draws and slippage can quickly be determined.
For instance by monitoring the breast roll and forward drive roll, any difference must be due to the wire slipping.
All speeds are monitored for short term variations, any abnormalities can be detected before it causing problems for the process
